Paska “Blood & Sand” with citrus and rum

The “Blood & Sand” Paska is an Easter classic, reimagined by Cheesecake Family in collaboration with HRAM bar. A pasty art project for hedonists and aesthetes, this author’s collection of three stunning Easter breads takes inspiration from the most intriguing cocktails of the bar.

The flavor styling of this classic Easter bread comes from the “Blood & Sand” cocktail. Its main theme – a combination of fruity and citrus notes with the perfect mix of spirits has been embodied in a Paska bread form. Thus, the inebriating and aromatic “Blood & Sand” Easter bread was born.

It`s a very citrusy and aromatic Paska with candied fruits and raisins, covered with a glaze based on vanilla marshmallow, and soaked with rum syrup. Interweaving visual and taste concepts, the idea for the decor was taken both from the recipe and the presentation of the cocktail. A single dry citrus element with goji berries, which adorns the cocktail, we visualized through the diversity of the alcoholic mix in it, and in the Paska this was translated into a kaleidoscope of citrus chips – orange, lemon, lime, grapefruit, and, of course, the bright droplets of goji berries.

Ingredients: bread – wheat flour, water, yolk, dry milk, sour milk cheese, sugar, vanilla sugar, honey, butter, blue raisins, candied orange peel, orange zest, yeast. Syrup: rum syrup, brandy. Glaze: gelatin, sugar, water. Decor: citrus chips (orange, lemon, grapefruit, lime), goji berries, starch, powdered sugar.

Best before: our paska does not contain preservatives and is baked right up to the holiday. For the best taste of the natural “Blood & Sand” Easter bread, the recommended shelf life is 2 weeks.
